PYZN is a venture studio. We don't wait for ideas to find us, and we don't just write checks. We originate the thesis, build the product ourselves, and operate the company through its earliest and hardest stages, then carry it toward scale.
01The Thesis
The best SaaS companies start with a specific, unglamorous problem that incumbents have papered over with generic tools. We look for those gaps, the places where a whole category of operators has been forced to bend their workflow around software that was never built for them.
Then we build the thing that should have existed, and we operate it ourselves until it earns the right to stand on its own.
02The Model
PYZN originates each venture in-house. We own the early architecture, write the first code, file the patents, and stand up the company before it ever raises outside capital. When a venture is ready, we spin it into its own entity and operate it toward scale.
This means every PYZN company starts with three things most startups spend their first year chasing.
03The Platform
Each company we build inherits a shared spine: research, engineering, capital, and go-to-market discipline that would take a single startup years to assemble. That is the advantage of building inside a studio.
We pressure-test a problem before a line of code is written: the market, the operator, and the gap incumbents left open.
A shared platform, infrastructure, and standards mean every venture ships on a foundation that already works.
We fund the earliest, riskiest stage ourselves and retain ownership, so incentives stay aligned from day one.

We build our own IP. Architecture, product, and patents originate inside the studio, not in a portfolio company we happened to fund.
Every venture is run by people who have done the work, not just studied the market.
A clever prototype is easy. A company that survives contact with real customers is the hard part, and the only part that matters.
